   Join us for a beer in the library and soak up some                                               bloody battle action.

   The aim of this annotated blog is to bring in to the library the sometimes overlooked male demographic of ages 25-40. In conjunction with a special event to be held at the library, this aims to raise awareness with customers of the more "blokey" possibilities to be found within the walls of the local public library. 
   
   With the popularity of books such as 'Game of Thrones' and tv series 'The last kingdom", there is clearly a thirst for the action packed historical fiction genre. And it is high time to entice the male population into the library with the promise of a cold beer and some hot battle action from a top ten selection of books and films featuring themes of war, valour, sex and violence.
